Meet the creator of Joyful Money Mastery, Rachel Bird
Rachel Bird is a Buddhist and software engineer with a BA in Philosophy. That means she likes logic, compassion, loving-kindness, and system design. She’s deeply interested in what it means to live a great life, and spent over a year in the woods at a Buddhist retreat center thinking about it.
When she was a kid, her dad taught her how to balance his checkbook and made her his assistant on his annuities spreadsheet. She’s been hooked on personal finance ever since, and held roles as an administrator for a tax accounting firm, a real estate agent, a life insurance agent, and a software engineer in financial technology. This has now all come together in Joyful Money Mastery, a philosophically-based system designed to benefit others through education and inspiration.
Winston the cat heartily endorses Joyful Money Mastery.
His contributions include walking across the keyboard daily.
